Nightmare Duck Replica

This was a fun piece we made because we love Nightmare Before Christmas!

The Painted (Completed) Option will come out of the box ready and just as seen in the photos!

You can buy him as a DIY : Unpainted. This is for all of those who don’t shy away from a little work and want to take a stab at building and painting this fun creature. The bottom of the print can come out a bit rough and will require some filling and sanding. You may want to fill and sand the seems as well! But this piece is very forgiving and doesn’t need to be perfect! The model is supposed to be dirty and wonky. You fans already know: the nightmare team doesn’t do Christmas well!

For the larger model: the cart gets messy as the print gets bigger because it exaggerates the holey texture. I don’t fill these holes! I love the messy texture it gives! I do let my paint sink into the print so that no other colors can be seen but black. But if you’d like to fill these with the tree filler as well; you can!

Also, keep in mind that the unpainted model may not be printed in black! Message us to see what color filament we have loaded.

About the plastic:

We chose to use PLA + filament because of its strength and durability. The filament is vegan and biodegradable. They will melt with too much sun exposure; don’t leave your prints in a hot window or in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. They will degrade with extensive water exposure. To protect the paintjob, we have clear coated it. This is intended for modeling on display.
