Our items all appear to have been used in battle and has a worn, beaten appearance. There is rust, grit, and grime strategically applied to where we believe the items may have endured use. Phurba from Uncharted: Completed Project

This golden dagger is traditionally used to clear away spiritual obstacles from one’s life, I really feel like everyone could use a little of that, no?
This dagger is a three sided blade that sports dragons and a 3 faced god. I used a bright blue to draw out the eyes in the dragons and the jewels.

Behind the Paintjob:

This 3D print started in 3 pieces and sanded them to fit each other as best as we can. We file the connection points to give better grip and epoxy our pieces together with J.B. Weld; it’s the good stuff. Then we fill in the seams and file the pieces into perfection to give our pieces the look as if it were one entire piece.

What You Will Receive:

You will receive a completed item. The Item will be worked into one solid piece that we will prime and apply our battle worn look for you. It will be clear coated and out of the box ready.

DIY 3D Print Build Kit:

3D prints are fairly easy to work with and if you have some basic tools, you can build these too! The prints you’ll receive will be cleared of supports, but will need extra work prior to assembly. 3D prints have little nibs on them that will need to be sanded down. We recommend sanding the connections points clear of any debris as well. 3D printed items are printed in layers moving upward; because of this there will be layer lines as well. If you wish to buff these out, research the best ways to do so. There are a thousand ways to accomplish this; we prefer to prime and sand our objects down. After you’ve gotten your item as smooth as you’d like, you’re ready to paint! The plastic doesn’t have the best grip for painting so we use a spray-painted base coat. Don’t try to completely cover the piece on the first try. Its best to dust the piece first and then completely cover it with a second coat. Now you can paint it with any paint you prefer. About the plastic:

We chose to use PLA + filament because of its strength and durability. The filament is vegan and biodegradable. They will melt with too much sun exposure; don’t leave your prints in a hot window or in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. They will degrade with extensive water exposure; if you would like us to water proof your item, please message us directly prior to ordering. To protect the paintjob, we have clear coated it. This is intended for indoor modeling on display.
